I’m Tauni Huddleston, founder of Yellowstone’s Casanova Guided Tours. This company was born from a deeply personal journey and a desire to share the wild world that saved my life. My mission is simple: to help others experience the beauty, rawness, and healing power of nature through unforgettable wildlife encounters.
For years, I’ve traveled and photographed wildlife across the globe, but no place has ever captured my heart like Yellowstone National Park. I still remember the first time I saw wolves, four of them, moving through the open valley. The rush of awe, connection, and pure joy that moment brought changed me forever. From that day on, Yellowstone became my second home. I immersed myself in studying its wolf packs, observing their behaviors and relationships, and deepening my respect for the delicate balance of life in the wild.
Through Casanova Guided Tours, we strive to give guests more than just a sightseeing trip. Each tour is an opportunity to see beyond the surface and to truly understand the animals, ecosystems, and landscapes that make Yellowstone and Grand Teton so extraordinary. Whether it is watching a wolf pack at sunrise, spotting a grizzly on the move, or witnessing the quiet beauty of Lamar Valley in winter, every experience is designed to inspire connection and appreciation for the natural world.
From the wildlife packed valleys of Lamar and Hayden Valley to the rich thermal sites, let us take you to the most beautiful places within Americas first National Park. In the Jackson, WY area? Great! We also do Grand Teton National Park tours!
Casanova. A name that carries a story as wild and transformative as the wolves of Yellowstone themselves.
During the countless hours I’ve spent in the park observing wolves and studying their histories, beginning with the reintroduction in 1995, I became fascinated by a few of Yellowstone’s most famous wolves. One, in particular, captured my heart. Casanova, or wolf 302M, the nephew of my all-time favorite, wolf 21M.
Casanova didn’t begin life as a leader. He was reckless, selfish, and charming in all the wrong ways. He ran from danger, left others behind, and often stirred chaos among the packs. Yet despite his flaws, the female wolves adored him. He was bold, magnetic, and impossible to ignore. Over time, however, Casanova changed. Through hardship and experience, he transformed into a strong, loyal leader who earned the respect of his pack and those who studied him.
In many ways, I saw myself in his story. Like Casanova, I wandered for years before finding my purpose. I learned to lead, to protect, and to give my heart fully to the people and animals that make up my own “pack.”
The name Casanova represents transformation, resilience, and the power of finding strength through growth. The values that define both my journey and the spirit behind Yellowstone’s Casanova Guided Tours.
